A downloadable game

The Ghost Stories project is a collaboration between Dr. Elizabeth Goins, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Dr. Gian Carlo de Jesus , University of the Philippines. During the fall semester of 2022, RIT students in Dr. Goins' Virtual Worlds class worked with Dr. de Jesus to create game prototypes based on the ghost stories from the University of Philippines' campus.

The game prototypes are free, simply follow the link and click DOWNLOAD ALL to download a zip file.

Students worked with free assets and the Unreal 4 game engine and completed these prototypes in less than six weeks.

The Ghosts Of Baker Hall

The massacre that happened at Baker Hall created many lost wandering ghosts that want to make their story known, but some of their Japanese captors are also stuck as ghosts who are forever loyal to their emperor and are forever at war. Every couple of years a person goes missing here. Our player had a friend go missing and decided to investigate Baker Hall at night for them.

Recollection

A young student’s grades are slipping as they are overwhelmed with life, and they are at their wit’s end. But a chance newspaper article reveals a story of good luck, which they desperately need. As they travel to seek good fortune, what will they learn along the way? Time will tell….

Baker Hall Haunting

The year is not going as planned. You were on track to graduate from college, but now a failing grade in one class has thrown the future into uncertainty. Your friends have been trying to convince you to steal the final exam answers to ensure you all pass. There’s just one problem: the professor’s office is in Baker Hall, the building supposedly haunted by the tormented souls of its former role as a concentration camp. Nothing fishy has happened when you’ve been there, however. What could go wrong?
